"Professions of the Future" Discussed at the "Science Cafe" Event. Our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Yıldırım Met with the Youth

As part of the "Science Cafe" events organized by the Science Communication Coordinatorship of Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University (KMÜ) under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Science Communication Office, a meeting was held with the students of Karaman TOBB Science High School.

Within the scope of the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Yıldırım, Head of the Department of Data Science and Analytics at Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science, gave a presentation titled "Data Science and Analytics". Our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Yıldırım shared the dynamics of the data-driven world, the critical role of data today, the rich career opportunities it offers, and the professions of the future with the students.

Also in the program, a talk titled "Software Development" was held by Assist. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eldem, Head of the Software Development Department at KMÜ Kamil Özdağ Faculty of Science. In the talk, current developments in software technologies, the importance of software in the age of artificial intelligence, and career opportunities in this field were discussed.

In the program, which attracted great interest from TOBB Science High School students, frequently asked questions about the professions of the future were answered in detail by our academicians. The event, which made a significant contribution to increasing scientific awareness within the scope of university-industry-society cooperation, was successfully completed in line with the goal of bringing science to society and preparing young people for the world of the future.
